What Fits a Ford Bronco for Off-Roading?
My m1 said made in China 😳
Sorry… Comanche all the way ! Old school, way better HP/weight ratio, and I like all the rattles and shakes if I’m being honest. Luxury has its place but when it comes to utility, rough and ready takes the day.
Idk.. i like power and the already slow 4runner with a heavy bumper is just not it for me.
Do these tires run true to size and are not actually bigger than stated? My clearance my be close
Just had Wildpeaks installed on 03 Tundra. Great feeling in handling and very quiet.
Wouldn't touch any fake jeep with a pole.... jeep tj wrangler was the last real jeep made
ANYBODY OWN A TOW TRUCK
Said no one ever. ….
Jeep wrangler or gladiator with the diesel. Then a Toyota. Owned both. Both are great vehicles.
As a current Jeep owner & former Toyota let me say you made a very wise decision
Ironman Open country MT is the best, loudest, aired down they turn into monkey fingers
Hey, let's tear up our $80,000 Jeeps by rock climbing with them! Brilliant!
Where I'm struggling to decide on my next tire, is the Load Ratings on a Loaded down Tacoma. It's hard to see how a Load Range E tire is necessary but everyone seems to be running them. Currently I have Cooper Rugged Trek 285/70R17 Load Range C (SL) and they seem perfect in most cases, but I could see a need for a slightly higher load rating when we are fully loaded with camping gear.
I have Dobinson 3" MRR lift with 285/70Rr17 BFG KO2's on my 2020 ORP. They fit fine without rubbing or a BMC. When I decided to add spindle gussets, I had to get a body mount chop and add wheel spacers. I would highly recommend wheel spacers to anyone with a 3" lift because it provides a lot of stability at high speeds. I am using the TRD Pro rims and have built my vehicle out for speed.
I recently purchased new rims for my 2004 FX4, going from the factory 18 x 7.5's to 18 x 9's Fuel Assault's with a negative 13 offset gave me the look I was wanting. Wider stance with a more aggressive look. Totally transformed my F-150!
Both are sweet to each their own! 🙌
I'm pretty sure "Willys" isn't pronounced the same as the plural form of British slang for a male's anatomical appendage (i.e., not "WILL-eez") but the same as the first name "Willis," like, "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?!" (i.e., WILL-iss).
I love Toyota, but some of y’all Toyota owners act so insecure about your car, like you need everyone’s approval lol
Where's Josh? Got used to his nasally Mid-West accent describing tires, that it seems different now. What about any of these tires available for HD pickups? Hard to find Load Range E and above with tires that tackle hard stuff daily.
Most of these are unrealistic for CA. 😮.. We here have to find a donor vehicle with proof of registration. And keep all smog equipment as stock.. Must be kept up to donor vehicle smog standards. Still not impossible. Ask me how i know.. - 1980 wagoneer owner.
The 5th gen 4runners are such women cars. Literally a mall crawler
Those mickey thompson baja boss are that good but i dont know if was the truck or the tougher sidewall tire didn't ride as smooth felt more bumps
What happen if i drive 70% on the highway..are they going to persist for 45.000 miles?
I had baja boss at and loved em and just mud tire doesnt do good on roads in snow deep snow in field sure
good!!!
I'm just going to get a 2nd Set of Tires. Highway Tires & Trail Terrain
Im toyota all the way.. but between that beautiful truck and that ugly ass 4runner, im going jeep just this once
Soooo choose between a New 75k truck or a Mint 35k truck....
That's part of the joke. And honestly we all probably would have snagged the Comanche.
@TrailBuilt When I hit the lotto,my entire car collection will be 50-80's Trucks...
I bought a 2024 Tacoma TRD sport, not sure which tire to buy, I live in Seward Alaska, it seems the 3 peak mountain ones are what I need, Our temps fall below freezing often.
For my next set, im going with either the falken wildpeaks at3 or the falken rubitreks. I have really good experiences with falken tires so far...
Toyota
Both very nice!
If you want to go into the wilderness get a jeep ! If you want to make it home get a 4 runner!
lol that's a new one for us
Both
All said and done you bought the Jeep. You paid for the Jeep. You do it anyway You want to ,don't listen to anybody's opinion, There's always going to be haters out there!
Sick! Just ordered these for my 2024 Crosstrek!

I just got them in 37s and they don’t have the 3PMS symbol on them so it seems like they are not 3PMS rated anymore.
good!!!
I promise you they don’t have a 10 ply sidewall dude! Maybe you miss spoke or maybe you don’t know what your talking about but I am actually looking for the sidewall info as I am looking use them on all my ranch jeeps and trucks. Thanks
They most definitely do offer a 10 ply. just might not be in the size you are looking at.
How does it establish that when before the whole chassis was moving and now it’s not. what achieved this it can’t just be the spring and shocks
Better shocks with different spring rates, compression etc. A lot can be done with basic suspension upgrades.
Isn't this motor direct injection? It will be a reliability nightmare around 80k miles with all the carbon build up on the valves.
The 'Ironman' looks aggressive, but looks only about 1/4" deep.. as if theyve been used for 30K already.. 🤨
I got a 2018 and I have a 5" RCD lift with Toyo Open Country R/T Trail Tires at LT295/70/17 and those are about 33.5" and I have very very light scrubbing every now and then, nothing too bad at all. Besides that, she rides smooth, and it's a manual, so that's even more fun.
I run those tires on my jeep, atv, and dirtbike. Huge fan of the company
i actually think about removing my spare tire on my 110 Defender TD5. I use it as a overlander and have a tire fix kit and an air compressor. so the only case where i would need a spare tire is, if the tire wall is cut by a big rock. Cause its a Camper/Overlander Build, i never go on very hard trails where this could be the case. I Would get so much more meaningful mods instead of the spare tire like extra storage or a bike carrier mounted on the rear door but it doesnt feel right to eliminate it :D
Lmao just bought a 4Runner with those exact tires and I’m like no way do I have a lift kit already?! Haha I thought they were stock size tires
Best of both world's? Carry the spare inside the jeep. That's what I am gonna do with my 40s.
advanced technology!!
Probably be a lot more useful if you gave the price for 5 tires and in a size off-roaders are actually going to get. 33s are considered tiny these days. Hell, even my 35s are considered small now.
